To be part of this transformative scheme, your initial investment must meet a minimum of $10,000. However, this should not be a concern as we offer a diverse range of products that can be combined to fulfill this requirement, ensuring a customized solution that aligns with your specific needs. Importantly, this program is designed to be cost-neutral for your business, with the grant covering all expenses up to $25,000 for the complete upgrade.

Grant Approval: Upon securing grant approval, our team at Efficient Energy Group takes charge, orchestrating the installation of your chosen products. Our expertise and commitment to excellence ensure a smooth transition to energy efficiency, minimizing any disruption to your business operations.

Don’t delay! There is just over $41 million available for this round of grants so it is very much a ‘First Come, First Served’ opportunity. Once the funding runs out, the round will close. Note also that the minimum spend is $10,000 so it’s likely you will need to upgrade or install a few pieces of equipment to make the threshold.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the grant, your business must:

Be a small or medium-sized entity and have been in business for at least 24 months prior to applying.
Have a current Australian Business Number (ABN).
Be an Australian-incorporated entity, sole trader, partnership, or incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust.
Employ between 1 to 199 people and have maintained an average number of employees within this range for a minimum of 12 consecutive months since July 1st, 2020.
Have permission from the landlord / property owner to undertake any and all work to or on the premises on which the business is located.
Be able to provide all the documents listed in Section 6.1 of the grant guidelines.

Who Can’t Apply?

You can’t apply if your organization or business:

Is listed on the National Redress Scheme but hasn’t yet signed up, or expressed intent to sign up for the Scheme.
Employs 100 or more people but hasn’t complied with the Workplace Gender Equality Act (2012),.
Employs more than 199 people.
Is not incorporated, or is an unincorporated association,
Is not specified in Section 4.1 of the guidelines for the grant opportunity,
Is a trust unless it is an incorporated trustee applying on behalf of a trust,
Is insolvent,
Has a director or owner who is insolvent,
Is a local, territory, state, or commonwealth government business or body i.e. public school, public hospital,
A listed entity i.e. a non-corporate government entity.

What Projects Are Eligible?

Eligible projects must demonstrate a focus on improving energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption.

The work must be undertaken completely within the jurisdiction you are applying for the grant through. In other words, if you have an interstate office as well, you can’t use any of the grant money for that office. You can only use it for your premises within NSW.

The work must also be completed and signed off by 31st March 2025.

Purchasing energy-efficient equipment to replace older, less efficient models,
