Until recently, South Australian businesses could buy energy efficient plug-in fridges and freezers at a heavily reduced price through the Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS). Plug-in units are no longer covered. Our 735L double door fridge is now $1,899 including GST. The REPS scheme still supports refrigeration upgrades, but the rules have changed. Plug-in display fridges and freezers, where the motor is built into the cabinet, no longer qualify. Remote refrigerated cabinets, where the motor sits away from the cabinet, can still qualify. We do not install remote cabinets at the moment. If that is what your business needs, tell us in the form and we will let you know if that changes.

Remote refrigerated cabinets can still qualify for the REPS rebate. Plug-in display fridges and freezers no longer do. To receive a REPS rebate, the work has to go through a business that is permitted to carry out energy productivity activities under REPS. Efficient Energy Group is.
